You guys ever have one of those weeks? Where Murphy's Law becomes godly and everything that can go wrong does. And HOW.

Which might be part of the reason he's half-asleep on the table, one arm hanging off the table and the other one being used to bury his face into. And even without that, it's easy enough to notice it looks like he hasn't slept in... well, a week. But it seems more like a physical inability to rest rather than any conscious effort on his part.

Of course, anyone with the eyes for it could notice that he's supporting another soul on top of his own, which probably isn't helping in the least. But it probably answers why he's been missing for a week. Or seems completely inclined not to move from his spot half-sprawled on said table. Or why all of the demons have given up on moving him from there.

Maybe you'd have better luck?

[Yeah, Michi went looking for him. Partially because he has a feeling of IMPENDING DOOM and partially because he's worried. MAKING HIS WAY INTO THE POCKET DIMENSION, YES.]

[Moves over next to him and puts a hand on his shoulder. Gently.]

[It's hard. Having to speak through telepathy. And it's even harder when her soul is in a weaken state. But at least she somehow managed to pull her voice through into reality so he could hear? Hn. None the less, her voice is small. Concerned filled in her voice, with a side of sorrow.]

[That voice. Only you can hear it now right. Eyes opening a crack, then slowly forcing himself to sit up. Really only managing to fold his arms and rest his head on top of them. But at least it's a bit more of an awareness than it was a few minutes ago.]

You should be resting...

I did. But I got worried and...

[The sentence is cut off there. Strangled coughs eliciting from her throat, as if the pain from a week ago was still there, but that's cut off as well after a few moments. Silence. Then... a relieved gasping noise that she got her lungs to be working correctly. Ugh. Didn't think the pain would still be there after all this time.]

{Considering he's got half an idea of what's going on, he sits nearby ready to haul the other off to the dorm room when he's good and ready.

[God damn coworkers and your presences appearing out of nowhere. Cue moving his arm away just enough to stare at him flatly. Sure, you have every right to be scared, but if his scathing sarcasm is any indication, at least it isn't even worse.]

[As usual, she'd been left out of the loop on these things; Yukari had just popped in with coffee and muffins to spend some time with her favourite suits when that posture is seen. Something's wrong. Something is very wrong.

Her sense are limited, but there's...a great weight on him. She can sense something, vaugely, even while straining with all of Isis' might.

Doesn't matter. What it boils down to is that Orpheus needs help. She places the coffee and muffins next to him before hesitating, leaning down to hug him from behind.]

[Jerks a bit at the sudden sound of something hitting the table next to him. Immediately tensed and moving to sit up. When something holds him there. And all it takes is turning around enough to see that flash of pink to relax again.

It's nice to see you're doing alright at least.]

... {Hearing about your best friend getting maimed without you there to help is a heavy blow to one's mentality but it's not like he can sit around and be useless even further, especially after all that's happened.

So he approaches, only to put a hand on Orpheus' shoulder. Slowly he's falling apart but we couldn't be better. AHEHAHEHA. ;;;;}

[Not moving, but his eyes open at that. Hollow grey retinas quickly shifting to stare up at him. A few moments. Then back to the table and staring out at nothing.]

{He shakes his head and remains standing. One side of him wants to say yes on the dime but the other part feels like he can't face her after this especially. ... That and Orpheus' health, yeah sure.}

... I'm fine knowing she's okay for the most part right now.

[Huh. That was random, wasn't it? After all those encounters with the others, all she could merely say was... "Sorry". Not even a hint of happiness, or optimism in her tone. But that's only because Orpheus is... suffering in front of her. And he's one of the last people that's able to--]

[Doesn't say anything, but his soul backs away. Ugh, I can't keep up with this much longer... But at least cutting off that effort of staying in control of his body makes it a bit easier.]

[And with that said, she makes no hesitation to switch. Eyes turning blue for a quick moment before turning gray. Ugh. Nice wave of being tired there all of a sudden. But whatever. With much struggle she manages to place a hand on the table. Lifting herself up from the chair and proceeds to move forward with a heavy feeling on her back. Ugh. Always tired, but always hungry. Even in a different body...]

[Suddenly, there is a Fusionist sitting right next to Orpheus at the table as his fingers immediately find the blue strands of Orpheus' hair so he can start to preen. ... As usual, he's in the dark about all of this. All he knows is that there is something definitely wrong with his Assistant so why is he in the Mall right now.] Come on, you know you shouldn't rest in the middle of the Mall when you get like this.

She wanted to go out for a bit... ["And I couldn't get the energy to move afterwards." Can't be helped though. Forcing himself to sit upright, a hand gripped on the table's edge. Don't look at him he'll guilt trip you don't look at him he'll guilt trip you]

Mmm... [Proceeds to bite down on his bottom lip as he watches Orpheus. He would have said "It's all right" on instinct, but Thanatos knew that wasn't the truth at all right now. It wasn't all right that Orpheus was continuing to do this to himself for the sake of others no matter how many times he's collapsed in the Mall.]

... Let's just go back to the dorms.

[Not even bothering to move at first. Kind of given up on being left to his own devices, what with everyone wanting to bother him for answers and him not being in any state of being to do so. So maybe if we ignore it, they'll go away?

Until the voice. Ugh... no amount of ignoring will make you leave. Moving an arm only enough to tug it off from over his eyes. Have a flat glare shot at you.]
